Litchfield is a specialist executive search firm conducting senior searches for Asset Management clients in the UK.

We have also completed searches in Germany, Switzerland, USA, UAE and Africa.

Founder & director

Philip Darling

Philip has worked in the executive search and in-house talent industry since 1994. He brings a respected track record of completing senior-level searches for a wide range of global investment management firms and specialist boutiques. He set up Litchfield in 2014.
 
He was previously the Executive Hiring Partner at Legal & General Group responsible for senior hiring strategy at LGIM and also worked across the rest of the Group’s businesses. He has also been Managing Director of the UK Asset Management practice at Ferguson Partners in London, Head of Asset Management at Stonehaven and worked at the world's largest executive search firm, Korn/Ferry International, for five years, latterly as a Partner in the London office. 
 
He has successfully completed senior-level assignments for CEOs, CIOs, Heads of Asset Classes, Directors of Research, Portfolio Managers, Senior Sector Analysts, and Heads of Distribution. He has operated across Western, Central, and Eastern Europe and the Middle East for clients based in London, New York, Boston, Geneva, Zurich, Moscow, and the GCC.
 
Philip studied French at Queen Mary College, University of London, and graduated from the Central School of Speech & Drama/Webber Douglas Academy.

Karen Kwong

Karen combines very real experience on the Buy-Side with psychology based insights to assess and help individuals take their performance to higher levels and for organisations to be a greater success. The founder of Ren Organisational Consulting, she is trained in coaching psychology, organisational development and change, selection & assessment and workplace wellbeing.

Prior to her career in psychology and coaching Karen spent 14 years at M&G ultimately as Head of Central Dealing. Her own extensive experience in the asset management industry positions her uniquely to advise Buy-Side clients. In addition to her vast industry experience and her Masters in Organisational Psychology, Karen is an accredited user of MBTI, FIRO-B & FIRO B Team, Dimensions and Strengthscope.
